Trupa celebrează 40 ani de la lansarea albumului de debut în 1978
John Lydon reinventează Public Image Ltd cu ocazia a împlinirii a 40 ani de la înfiinţare, 40 ani de la lansarea primului album, Public Image:First Issue, 40 ani de când a părăsit Sex Pistols.
Cu această ocazie Public Image Ltd va porţi într-un lung turneu european care va porni pe 30 mai în Bristol, Marea Britanie şi se va încheia pe 26 august în Dublin, Irlanda.
